rabbittransit has no Capital Region or York Fixed Route service, Paratransit/Shared Ride service or rabbitEXPRESS service on the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, or Christmas.
rabbittransit Gettysburg has no Fixed Route service on the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or Christmas.
Winter Weather Impacts/Snow Routes
Winter weather may affect your regularly scheduled route. For real-time updates about your regular routes, we recommend signing up for Rider Alerts. When you sign up for Rider Alerts, you will receive an automated call, a text, or an email when there are unexpected changes to your route(s).
If rabbittransit declares a snow emergency, it may alter its regular snow routes to connect people to parking garages and ‘lifeline’ type facilities. Changes will be made on a route-by-route basis as needed. Whenever possible, all route changes will be announced prior to the change(s). Every attempt will be made to follow the listed snow routes.
Capital Region Snow Routes
Route 6/13: 6th Street/13th Street
No service on 13th between Market & Paxton in both directions to and from Harrisburg Mall; will detour using Cameron.
Route 8: Derry/Rutherfod
Walmart trips will use Derry St to cross bridge. No direct service to Rutherford Sq or Brokas Dr; pick-up/drop-off along Derry St only.
Route 12: Colonial Park
No direct service to Colonial Rd and Colonial Park Mall. Service will remain on Jonestown Rd. Pick-up/drop-off at Colonial Mall Park & Ride stop.
Route 14: Springford/Union Deposit
No direct service to Twin Lakes Apts. Pick-up/drop off from Union Deposit Road only.
Route 17: Union Deposit/Hamilton Health Center
Route 17 will not use Berryhill/Hale/Rudy. Buses will continue on Derry to 29th & go directly to Kline Plaza. No Hospital Loop; Point Mall last stop.
Route 19: Steelton
No service N. Hbg St, Oberlin, Enhaut, Bressler. We will use Gibson-Front-Mohn (Chambers for 2nd & Chambers Trips), back to Paxton & the Mall.
Route 20: High Point Commons
Route 20 will use 40th and Paxton streets to access High Pointe Commons. No service to Chambers Hill, N Harrisburg, Highland or McDonald’s Hwy stop.
Route 39: Herr Street/Blue Mountain Commons
Route 39 will use Herr and Walnut streets to access Progress Avenue. No service to Edgemont, Brown, N 25th or Locust Lane.
Route 322: Hershey/Hummelstown
Route 322 will use Mansion and E Derry Roads to access Park Avenue. No service on Park Ave between Chocolate & E Derry.
Route AB: Independence Avenue Warehouses
Route AB will begin/end at Front & Swatara Street. No service to Park Run Apts or Gibson Blvd hilltop; walk down to 19th/Gibson.
Route D: Erford Road/Capital City Mall
Route D will not be able to service the Yverdon/Rupley areas or Grandview Avenue.
York/Adams Snow Routes
Route 1W: West Manchester Mall
No Bannister Street or White Street service. Carlisle Avenue only.
Route 1E: East York
No service to Williams Road.
Route 2N: North York via North George Street
No change.
Route 3N: Northwest Plaza/UPMC Hospital
No change.
Route 4E: Memorial Outpatient
No change.
Route 5E: Haines Rd/Greensprings
No service to Greensprings Plaza or beyond on Mount Rose Ave.
Route 5W: West York/West York Ind. Park
No change.
Route 6N: York City Industrial Park
No service on Jefferson or Pershing Ave. Bus travels out Beaver St. between Jefferson and Parkways and inbound from Parkway to George St. No service to Colony Park.
Route 8S: York Hospital via George St.

Route 9S: York Hospital via Pershing Ave.

Route 10S: South York via Queen/Red Lion
No service on Edgar Street Hill. Route: Between Edgar Square & Rathton Road bus uses Peyton to Pine Streets.
