Lost & Found Policy

Lost or found an item on the bus?
Call Customer Service at 1-800-632-9063 or complete the form below to report a lost item.

Please note: We only return calls if your item has been located. While rabbittransit will make a reasonable effort to return lost items to their rightful owners, the Authority is not responsible for any personal belongings that are lost, stolen, or left behind on any vehicle, property, or facility.

To avoid loss, please check your seat and the surrounding area before leaving the bus.

Disposition of Items:

  • Items not claimed within seven (7) days will be disposed of or donated at rabbittransit’s discretion.
  • Clothing, garments, and personal hygiene items are disposed of immediately.
  • Perishable items (including groceries, food, or beverages) are discarded immediately for health and safety reasons; unopened canned goods may be donated when possible.
