rabbittransit operates mobility services in Adams, Columbia, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Harrisburg City, Montour, Northumberland, Perry, Snyder, Union, and York counties in Pennsylvania. To provide our services, we rely on a broad range of businesses and contractors who work with us through the procurement process. The goods and services we purchase, ranging from office supplies to buses, are crucial to providing safe, reliable and economical transportation for our customers.

rabbittransit is committed to providing a full and open competitive environment for procurement opportunities in conformance with local, state and federal regulations. rabbittransit solicitations are issued as Request for Proposals (RFP), Invitations for Bids (IFB) or Request for Quotations (RFQ), depending on the type of goods or services.

Guidelines and procedures for all procurements are contained in the bid documents at the time of solicitation. rabbittransit encourages small businesses owned by minorities and women to pursue contracts to compete for rabbittransit’s business.

MTS Security Repairs

20240722 -Zarfoss – MTS Security Repairs IFB

The Susquehanna Regional Transportation Authority (SRTA), dba rabbittransit is issuing an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for the services described as follows.  The Authority will receive Bids related to costs necessary for the removal and replacement of various surveillance cameras, mounting hardware and accessories to improve surveillance coverage and replacement of existing access control system panels, new cards readers, and associated door security hardware to improve security at Middletown Train Station and the Zarfoss Building.  SRTA serves and maintains locations in Adams, Columbia, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Harrisburg City, Montour, Northumberland, Perry, Snyder, Union and York Counties.  This solicitation covers Dauphin, and York Counties.

All Bids and contracts are subject to all applicable Commonwealth and Federal laws and to a financial assistance contract between the Federal Transit Administration (FTA), the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT), and the SRTA.

All costs incurred by Bidders in the development of their responses to this IFB are the sole responsibility of the Bidding firms.  No such costs will be reimbursed by the SRTA.  Furthermore, Bidding firms must not include such costs as part of their cost proposals to perform any work described in this IFB.

The Authority reserves the right to postpone, accept or reject any and all Bids and to waive any informality in the IFB process as the Authority may deem in its own best interest. Bids received after the specified closing time will be considered late Bids and will not be evaluated for award. Misdirected submittals will not be accepted.

SRTA serves and maintains locations in Adams, Columbia, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Harrisburg City, Montour, Northumberland, Perry, Snyder, Union and York Counties.  This solicitation covers Dauphin County.

TVM Site Prep IFB

20260202 – TVM Site Prep IFB

The Susquehanna Regional Transportation Authority (SRTA), dba SRTA is issuing an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for the services described as follows.  This represents the second effort  put forth by SRTA to identify suitable contractors for this project.   The Authority will receive Bids related to costs necessary for the preparation of various sites which will host ticket vending machines (TVM).  There will be two (2) Contracts, one (1) for electrical construction (EC) and one (1) general trades construction (GTC) for site preparation.  Because of the Pennsylvania Separations Act (Act, 71 P.S. §1618) SRTA must advertise this opportunity as two separate and distinct Contracts, though bidders have the ability to bid both or one Contract. SRTA serves and maintains locations in Adams, Columbia, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Harrisburg City, Montour, Northumberland, Perry, Snyder, Union and York Counties.  This solicitation covers Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, and York Counties.
