b'HIGHLIGHTS OF FISCAL YEAR 2022-2023Stop Hopper Microtransit Expansion In August 2022, Franklin County became the fourth county offering the on-demand Stop Hopper Services, making service available to Chambersburg area residents. The Stop Hopper is designed to not only function as a neighborhood friendly-sized transit vehicle, but also as an affordable and accessible alternate method of transportation for local workers to get to and from jobs. The Stop Hopper runs 6:30am-6:30pm, Monday through Friday. Safety & Security: RISE Program & Transit Safety Ambassadors As part of a comprehensive effort to focus on safety and security, rabbittransit created the RISE Program Response and Incident Support for Employees. Civilian transit safety ambassadors (TSAs) were hired to support fixed route operators by engaging with and de-escalating situations with members of vulnerable populations who seek refuge on transit vehicles and property. TSAs specialize in community outreach and make referrals to crisis intervention to assist individuals experiencing addiction, homelessness and mental illness, with the goal of connecting them to vital social services.'
