West Milton Construction PennDOT and rabbittransit are building a new facility to accommodate a shared ride bus storage and operator support facility in West Milton, PA. This facility will provide a permanent home for Union Countys shared ride program, extending vehicle life and offeringamenities for operators. The facility will include storage for 18 vehicles, an operators breakroom, restrooms, and security features. Construction began in Spring 2025 and is expected to be completed by Fall 2026. Carlisle Project Design In Summer 2025, rabbittransit and PennDOT completed the final design for a new bus storage and operations center in Carlisle, advancing a key investment in Cumberland Countys transportation infrastructure. The new transit base will enhance fleet reliability by providing protected storage, while also improving daily operations and service efficiency through better on-site resources for operators. The project is anticipated to move to bid in Fall 2025, and a ribbon cutting is expected for Summer 2027.'
