FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
rabbittransit JOINS THE REVOLUTION:
rabbittransit TO SPONSOR "KIDS RUN THE BASES" OF YORK REVOLUTION

York, PA Beginning Sunday, May 4, 2008, rabbittransit will lead the charge after the York Revolution game as it becomes the newest sponsor of “Kids Run the Bases,” a baseball highlight for children of all ages. The rabbittransit mascot, Rabbitaz, will be on hand to give out goodie bags and welcome children onto the field immediately following the game as they get first-hand experience of what it’s like to run the bases. “Kids Run the Bases” takes place after every Sunday home game from May 4 September 7.
“This is yet another great opportunity for rabbittransit to connect with the community and support the activities in York City that help strengthen the local economy,” comments Richard Farr, rabbittransit Executive Director. “We hope more people will consider using the bus as a convenient alternative to driving to the game.” Sovereign Bank Stadium is accessible by using rabbittransit via route 2 or route 6.
rabbittransit will also sponsor two of the beginning games of the season on Wednesday, April 30 and Thursday, May 1 as its mascot is scheduled to throw out the first pitch at one of the games.
Now in their second season, the York Revolution is coached by former Baltimore Orioles catcher Chris Hoiles (Manager), and pitcher Tippy Martinez (Pitching Coach). Former Orioles assistant coach Sam Snider also joined the York staff for 2008.
“Partnering with rabbittransit and involving our young fans in the process is the perfect way for these two York County staples to work together, said Revolution General Manager Matt O’Brien. “The big city clubs always have good public transportation to the ballgame, so this relationship and the Revolution bus stop helps legitimize our game day experience.”
