TROLLEYS AND TOYS, OH MY!
rabbittransit LENDS SUPPORT IN DOWNTOWN
LIGHT UP NIGHT

York, PA – On Friday, December 1, rabbittransit will run expanded fixed route service utilizing historic replica trolleys to transport people around the downtown area for Light Up Night to view the annual lighting of the tree and York College holiday window displays. Boarding stops will be at all parking garages and trolleys will run every ten minutes from 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The shuttle service is free to the public, sponsored by American Cooling Technology, Inc.

During the festivities, people will have an opportunity to help rabbittransit “Stuff the Bus” and bring a smile to a child. Donations of toys are being accepted to benefit the York Benevolent Association in its mission. Each week, the York Benevolent Association assists more than 400 families receive groceries and during the holidays, they provide toys, hats, gloves or shoes for children who have so very little.

The public is also encouraged to drop off blankets in support of the Salvation Army’s Blanket Drive sponsored by Columbia Gas. Representatives will be in the square collecting donations and offering hot chocolate, and the rabbittransit mascot, Rabbitaz, will be on hand to greet people with candy canes.

Toy donations for Stuff the Bus will also be accepted on Saturday, December 2, from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm at the yellow entrance of the West Manchester Mall. For more information, please visit www.rabbittransit.org or call 846.RIDE.
