GOING GREEN: rabbittransit AND YORK COLLEGE INTRODUCE NEW GREEN MACHINE BUS SERVICE
LAUNCH EVENT FRIDAY, AUGUST 31 AT 5 PM

York, PA rabbittransit and York College have partnered to launch the Green Machine. This new bus service, which operates every Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening, will connect students from campus to the downtown area. The service also includes an extended loop to the West Manchester Mall.
On Friday, August 31, at 5:00 p.m., a launch event at York College will kick off this new initiative introducing the Green Machine bus service. The festivities will include refreshments and entertainment. City of York Mayor John Brenner, officials from the college and members of the business community are expected to be in attendance.
The Green Machine service is sponsored in part by the York College Student Senate. rabbittransit's traditionally red vehicles will sport new green “nose wraps” to identify the service. While the hue represents the College’s signifying color, it’s interesting to note that rabbittransit's vehicles run on environmentally friendly biodiesel, truly making it a green machine.
