FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
CALLING COMMUTERS: rabbittransit LAUNCHES SURVEY FOR YORK CITY AREA COMMUTERS

York, PA On Thursday, December 13, rabbittransit will launch a new survey targeted to commuters traveling to the York City Area from Southern York County. The survey outlines topics ranging from vanpooling to express bus service.
“Congestion and gas prices are on the rise and this is a perfect opportunity to poll the area on exactly what services are needed,” says rabbittransit Executive Director Richard Farr. rabbittransit offered a similar survey for Maryland commuters last fall, but service was delayed from launching as federal capital funding for the buses was not allocated. However, rabbittransit is still hopeful of the possibility to head south, and in the meantime, is focusing instead on intra-county commuting. This most recent effort attempts to identify and maximize existing resources as rabbittransit looks at reconfiguring routes to serve more individuals while utilizing existing vehicles.
