PARATRANSIT CURB-TO-CURB
County-wide van service is available to everyone. rabbittransit provides paratransit service in York and Adams Counties. Trip fares vary from $9.00 to $24.00 for the general public. Senior citizens and persons with disabilities may qualify for fare discounts. All of our vans are wheelchair equipped. Vans operate weekly and travel in various areas of the county at certain times daily.
Regular Business Hours: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday-Friday
Customer Service Call Center Hours: 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. Saturday
Paratransit reservations are taken between the hours of 7 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Monday – Friday. ADA reservations are accepted during regular business hours.
You can schedule trips with rabbittransit up to two weeks before you take a trip. However, for trips being taken the next day, you must schedule your reservation by 11:00 a.m. the business day before, with the exception of ADA Complementary Paratransit Service.
Riders will receive an automatic call the business day before your trip to confirm your pick-up time and location. Please make sure rabbittransit has your accurate phone number when you book the trip

SHARED RIDE SERVICES FOR SENIORS
Over 700 seniors daily use rabbittransit to get to senior centers, shopping, medical appointments...
To use Shared Ride Service, a rider must be registered with rabbittransit. Applications and proof of age may be returned by mail or in person at rabbittransit.

Senior citizens can purchase a book of 10 tickets for $10.00. These tickets are good for a $1.00 towards the passenger’s co-pay. These tickets can be very convenient for seniors on limited budgets, caretakers of senior citizens with Alzheimer's disease or as gifts for that senior you never know what to give for their birthday.

PARATRANSIT SERVICE FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES
Individuals who are unable to ride the fixed route system may qualify for paratransit service.
PWD Shared Ride Service
Individuals with disabilities may qualify for discounted fares on the general shared ride program. Individuals must register for this service by completing a PwD application. This service is not available where there is fixed route service.
ADA Complementary Paratransit Service
Individuals must complete an ADA application and travel within 3/4 of a mile of an existing rabbittransit fixed route during the route's regularly scheduled hours.

SERVICE FOR PERSONS RECEIVING MEDICAL ASSISTANCE

To qualify for this service you must have an ACCESS card and be a York or Adams County resident. Transportation is provided to medical appointments only. There is no cost to the rider. Trips are paid for by the Medical Assistance Program.

Persons with low income who do not have an Access card may qualify for special funding through the County Human Service Department for medical and human service transportation.

HUMAN SERVICE DEVELOPMENT FUND
To qualify for this service you must make less than 250% of the Department of Health and Human Services poverty limit. Transportation is provided to life-sustaining medical appointments only. There is no cost to the rider. Trips are paid for by the Department of Health and Human Services. Individuals must register for and be determined eligible for this service by completing an HSDF application.
