• TransitChek is a commuter benefit program that employers can offer to their employees to help pay for commuting on transit. It saves employers and commuters money because the program takes advantage of federal legislation that allows TAX-FREE dollars to pay for transit fares. TransitCheks are vouchers that can be redeemed to purchase passes, tickets and tokens for every transit agency in the region - rabbittransit, Red Rose Transit Authority, Capital Area Transit, County of Lebanon Transit and Amtrak (monthly commuter tickets only). • Employers can deduct up to $105 of the cost of an employee's transit pass as a business expense. The Employer essentially becomes a ticket outlet for their own employees. rabbittransit will deliver the tickets to your door and bill you for the passes that are sold to your facility.

• Employers can also allow employees to purchase a transit pass using a portion of their wages or salary on a pre-payroll tax basis, thereby saving federal, and in many cases state and local taxes, on a portion of their compensation.

• Employers who buy 300 or more passes receive a 15% discount. Potentially a company can buy 300 passes at a discount and sell them to their employees at the reduced cost.
